The minimum hardware requirements for DSL are basically the same as those for Internet in general. The only additional requirement is that you may need an Ethernet port or USB in some cases, so that you can connect to most DSL modems. The following are the bare minimum specifications we recommend for DSL.

Windows PC:

• Pentium 100 MHz processor with 64 MB RAM (1+ GHz recommended)
• Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows N.T or Windows 2000 (Windows 98 Second Edition or higher is recommended)
• Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC)
• A CD-ROM drive

Apple Macintosh:

• iMac, Power PC
• An installed AAUI NIC or Ethernet Network Interface Card.
• System 7.5.5 or higher
